Many home computer owners believe that both cyber crime and the dangers of being clogged up with junk mail are problems belonging to a past era. The irony is that in the age of the smart mobile phone these ‘old’ problems have the potential of resurfacing even more readily than ever before. Experts are therefore warning that urgent steps are needed by each mobile phone user to ensure maximum mobile security for every device owned.Most computer owners will long have installed anti-virus software and anti-spam filters on their machines at home, realising of course that their security and privacy are just as vulnerable from undesirable cyber intruders as their property is from a burglar. For some curious reason, however, many users of smart mobile phones do not see these devices as susceptible to the same types of online pest, despite the fact they can be used to keep the owner more frequently and more continually online than was ever previously possible.
