Sell your mobile phone for recycling with financial and eco-friendly benefits

On an annual basis, thousands of lorries carrying hazardous electronic waste are hitting our landfills simply because people still choose not to recycle mobile phones, but instead to throw them away. In recent months, The Independent Newspaper reported that there were 11,000 tons of unused mobile handsets in the UK alone which haven’t as yet even been disposed of, but are lying around in people’s homes. The majority of these handsets will, of course, eventually be thrown away, along with MP3 players and games consoles. The disposal of these electronic products is proving a hazardous exercise for the environment because of the chemicals and toxic metals that these items leak into the earth, after being thrown into landfills. Now more than ever it is of primary importance to recycle mobile phones in order to save our planet. Plus, with financial benefits for those that do, there is little excuse not to do this.
